Is a large library that often does events. The 1,000 books before kinder is was fun. While the kids section does have a lot of books, some key ones are hard to find and many are ripped or falling apart. I also wish they had some more toy options in the kid area. Before Covid they had blocks and other toys that never seemed to return. I think with a few tweaks to the kid area this could be a 4 or 5 star library.

A great place to spend an afternoon. A fine book collection as well as substantial programming.

I enjoy reading the staff’s book recommendations which are stuck on the book shelves, very useful. I hope there are more. Besides they have a large variety of activities. It would be nice if they have more online or zoom classes or talks though. The staff I encountered are all friendly and helpful. But there’s one time when I used the book drop to return books, one of the books had gone missing. Luckily I found it on the shelf and return it again.

This library is horrible. I put on hold One piece volumes 50-55 and then people checked them out when I was first to check them out. Your library workers didn’t hold the book at the shelf. They are horrible at their job.

This library is probably one of the loudest libraries I have ever visited. There is one room to the left upon entering that is considered to be the 'quiet room' but it is far from quiet. No one whispers, including the library staff, and the tall ceilings do not help in the acoustics from traveling/echoing. Also, people will take zoom calls on their computer and speak as if they are in a cafe! What is bizarre to me is that this library has AMPLE areas to take phone calls or conference meetings outside the 'quiet room' like in the cafe, by the tables in the front lobby, or the outside tables, but people choose to use the quiet room! I've been coming to this library since I was young and I remember how quiet it used to be back in the old building; I just wish the similar rules were still enforced.

Today I went to the library and encountered the most helpful librarian at the circulation desk. I didn't catch her name, but she had long brown hair. I am new to the library and she really took the time to explain things and I really appreciate it. She was absolutely wonderful!

I've moved 4 times in the last 8 years and with each move went to a different library. Cherry Hill Library has had by far the largest selection of books, especially newer books. They also have a self checkout system that I love, and whenever I interact with the staff they are knowledgeable and friendly. You can also renew books online which is convenient if youre like me and sometimes rent one too many books to get to in time. I usually go between Monday and Wednesday as that's when they typically have extended hours.
